The institutions of the world have been infected with a disease that twists corridors into labyrinths. This independent journalistic project seeks to define and document bureaucratic injustice — to bring it into the light.
The Sunlight Project will consist of interviews about and reflection on experiences of bureaucratic injustice, in the form of a podcast and newsletter.
For now, the focus is on and around Stellenbosch University, since that’s where I am. But be assured that this focus will not translate to unfair criticism. The goal is to highlight the phenomenon of and experiences with bureaucratic injustice, not to condemn anyone’s individual actions (there are other publications that already do that). If something bad is called out, I will do my best to explain it in adequate context. If you think I have misrepresented anyone or anything, please do not hesitate to contact me.
